MSU Fans Planning Rally Outside Of Breslin Center Tonight

Users of Spartan Tailgate's Red Cedar Message Board are planning a rally for Tom Izzo at 9 p.m. tonight. The meeting point for this gathering is the Magic Johnson statue outside of Breslin Center. The obvious hope for these Michigan State fans is to show Izzo how much they love and appreciate him and to convince him to stay in the process.

While some may scoff at the notion of something like this actually working, the power of the Red Cedar Message Board has been seen before. This is the same website that discovered Michigan State's plans for changing its logo and led the revolt against the ugly-looking concept. In the end MSU decided to keep its current logo, and if it weren't for Spartan Tailgate's overall disgust for the changes, chances are the decision to stay with the current logo wouldn't have been made.
