The plane that took Tom Izzo down to Cleveland is scheduled to depart for Lansing at 6:40 p.m., according to FlightAware.com. Izzo will arrive in Lansing at approximately 7:21 p.m., assuming he's on the plane.
The AP's Tom Withers reported that Izzo wasn't expected to stay in Cleveland past 6 p.m. and that "things could get interesting" if he did. The 40-minute difference between that time and when he is actually leaving probably isn't relevant. Now, if Izzo was staying in Cleveland for the night or not departing until much later, then there would be reason to speculate about what is happening. Since he is planning on departing just over an hour from now, chances are he will be coming back with a decision still left to be made.
What's next for Izzo after he gets back to Michigan is probably a lot of thinking and mulling over the situation at hand. If he makes it back to Michigan tonight then we know an official decision probably hasn't been made, but you can bet he will be weighing the pros and cons and reflecting on his visit to Cleveland.
