Tom Izzo: 'I Did What I Had To Do'

The Detroit News' Eric Lacy was at Capital Region International Airport in Lansing tonight when Tom Izzo and his family returned from Cleveland. Izzo briefly spoke to Lacy about this whole situation:

More Izzo: "I feel bad about all (the speculation) but feel real good that I did what I had to do."

Izzo on his decision and when he will announce it: "It's not going to be forever."

Izzo's comments before he drove away from the airport with his family: "Thank you. See ya later. Sorry." Seemed tired, apologetic.

His comments don't reveal a whole lot, especially the "I did what I had to do" one. That is very interesting but almost impossible to read into. I'm sure we will start to hear more about his visit in the coming hours and tomorrow morning, but for now we are right back to where we were yesterday -- left without an answer.
