A rumor saying that Michigan State had scheduled a 4 p.m. press conference today is not true, as reported by Eric Lacy:

MSU basketball sports information director Matt Larson left me a message and said there's no 4 p.m. press conference scheduled for today.

What this means is that there will be no official presser at MSU today (as of right now) dealing with the Tom Izzo situation. Some thought the rumor meant that Izzo was staying and was calling a press conference to announce it, while others believed that it was his goodbye to East Lansing. Whatever the case, Izzo seemingly has yet to decide one way or another and there is no presser scheduled right now.
