As expected, the Red Wings are going to have a little chat with 2007 first-round draft pick and recent signee Brendan Smith about his recent actions/legal troubles. Specifically, general manager Ken Holland is going to talk to him.

"I want to have a conversation with Brendan. I need to find out more information," Holland said. "There's a certain level of expectations, on and off the ice, to being a pro, especially being a Red Wing."

The Wings will not tolerate this kind of behavior for long, so Smith better get his head on straight and start acting more mature in the future.
