MSU Source To Jeff Goodman: Tom Izzo Rumor 'Absolutely Untrue'
FOXSports.com's Jeff Goodman got word from a Michigan State source that the Tom Izzo to Cleveland Cavaliers rumor is not true.
Michigan State source told FOXSports.com that the Tom Izzo report by WFNY that he's taking the Cavs job is "absolutely untrue."
Goodman also spoke to someone close to Tom Izzo:
Just spoke to another person extremely close with Tom Izzo and re-affirmed this report by WFNY is "not true".
There is definitely some serious smoke here, but a wait and see approach is probably best right now. Although there are plenty of rumors that Izzo is leaving, they are just rumors right now and nothing more.
