Michigan State guard Korie Lucious was arrested by East Lansing police early Monday morning for drunk driving. According to the Lansing State Journal, Lucious was charged with operating while intoxicated. WLNS reports the following about the incident:
According to his ticket, Lucious took a breathlyzer test and had a blood-alcohol level of .09. That's slightly above the legal limit.
Lucious is also underage. According to his biography on Michigan State's website, the junior guard won't turn 21 until November.
Lucious was released on bond after five hours in jail.
Tom Izzo declined to comment until he has time to gather all of the details from this case.
