The Michigan Stadium renovation is coming to a close, and on the outside everything appears to be finished, as seen in these new aerial pictures that were recently taken (thanks to Chris for sending them in):

These pictures show that a number of things have been completed since the last pictures came out (around the time of the public tour last month):
- ↵
- The new field appears to have been completely installed, and it really looks nice compared to the old FieldTurf. ↵
- The block "M" in the stands has been repainted. ↵
- The new chairback seats where the old press box was are in place. ↵
- The area around the stadium appears to have been resurfaced with new blacktop. ↵
The Big House will officially be handed back over to the athletic department later this month, at which point they can start to prepare it for the season-opening game on Sept. 4.
