Michigan To Honor Ron Kramer Before Saturday's Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Former Michigan football (and basketball) great Ron Kramer will be honored by the Wolverines before Saturday’s game versus Massachusetts.

Each Michigan player will wear Kramer’s No. 87, one of only five numbers retired by the program, on his helmet. The two-time All-American passed away last week at the age of 75.

Kramer also played three of his 10 seasons in the NFL with the Detroit Lions.

There will be a video tribute to Kramer on the Michigan Stadium scoreboard before the game, and a moment of silence will be held before the national anthem.
