Tigers beat writer Jason Beck didn't want to worry fans by tweeting that Miguel Cabrera went into the clubhouse with the team trainer in the top of the 6th inning. but that's exactly what he did. He gave fans the official okay to be worriedwhen Cabrera didn't come out for the bottom of the 6th and was replaced at first base by Don Kelly.

In the top of the 7th, Mario Impemba reported that it was biceps tendinitis on his left side and will be day-to-day.
