Pistons Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Detroit Loses 93-85 On Road

The Target Center is just the latest NBA venue to witness a disappointing night by the Detroit Pistons (3-12), as the Minnesota Timberwolves (6-8) came back for a 93-85 win on Wednesday night.

The Pistons led throughout the entire first three quarters and were up by as many as 16 points in the first half, but a 7-0 Timberwolves run to tie the game 71-71 to start the fourth quarter signaled the beginning of the end for Minnesota.

Tayshaun Prince scored a season-high 29 points to lead the Pistons, but the Pistons scored just 14 points in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Kevin Love led Minnesota with 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Ricky Rubio added 9 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals.

Detroit, now 1-7 on the road, heads home for two games in a row, starting with the Memphis Grizzlies (6-6) on Friday in a game slated to start at 7:30 p.m. eastern followed by a matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers (8-5) the next night, Saturday, also at 7:30 p.m. eastern.
