Pistons Vs. Heat Final Score: Detroit Falls 101-98 To Miami

The Detroit Pistons (4-15) gave the Miami Heat (13-5) a good game, but for the 12th time in 14 games games, it was not good enough, as Detroit fell 101-98 to Miami on Wednesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

A 12-0 fourth quarter run brought Detroit all the way back and in front 92-90, but Detroit went scoreless over the final minute and half of regulation.

LeBron James totaled 32 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, Chris Bosh added 27 points on 12-15 shooting from the field, and the Pistons lost despite shooting an even 50.0 % from the field.

Austin Daye exploded for 18 points in the second quarter and finished the game with 28 points, while the building blocks inside and outside both performed well, as Greg Monroe had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Brandon Knight had 17 points and 5 assists.

Detroit gets just one day off before they host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. After that, Detroit takes to the road, where they are 1-8, for a four-game road trip.

Pistons Vs Heat Score Update: Detroit Trails 56-50 At Half

Austin Daye exploded for 18 points in the second quarter, making 4-5 three-pointers, but the Detroit Pistons still trail the Miami Heat 56-50 at halftime at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Daye started the second quarter with two triples in a row, hit two more in a row minutes later, and fittingly made a buzzer-beating 12-footer to bring the Pistons within six at halftime. Daye did not score in the first quarter.

Still, the reeling Pistons, who enter tonight having lost 11 of 13 games, trail the Heat, who are shooting a scorching 60.5 % from the field in the first half.

Chris Bosh remains red-hot with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists on 7-8 shooting from the field, and LeBron James has added 11 points.

Pistons Vs Heat Score Update: Miami Leads 24-17 After 1st Quarter

With Dwyane Wade out, Chris Bosh continues to step up, as the power forward is leading the Miami Heat past the Detroit Pistons 24-17 early on at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit.

Bosh has already netted 13 points -- just four fewer than the Pistons altogether -- and he has yet to miss a shot, making 6-6 from the field. Bosh has also pitched in with a rebound, an assist and a steal.

LeBron James has added five points and three assists, while Rodney Stuckey leads the Pistons with five points, two rebound and two assists after one quarter of play.

Bosh's fast start comes on the heels of a 35-point, 7-rebound game in a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Pistons come into this game having lost nine of their last ten matchups with Miami, and things do not look promising.
