The Big Ten is shut out of the Coaches Poll for the first time ever.
For the first time in the history of the college football Coaches Poll, the Big Ten does not have a representative in the top 25. Ohio State, the only undefeated team left, is ineligible for Coaches Poll consideration because of its postseason ban, so the league was shutout.
The closest that a team came to cracking the top 25 was Michigan, who received 33 votes and was 28th, just outside the poll.
Michigan State also received 27 votes after its come from behind win over Indiana, which was good enough for 30th behind Northwestern.
