The Alabama Crimson Tide and Kansas State Wildcats survived their weekend games and are still the top teams in the BCS rankings.
The latest BCS rankings have been released and the top two spots remain the same as the Alabama Crimson Tide and Kansas St. Wildcats are still the two teams in line to play in the BCS Championship game.
The third and fourth spots were swapped as the Oregon Ducks moved into the No. 3 spot after beating the USC Trojans in a shootout on Saturday and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish needed three overtimes to dispose of the Pittsburgh Panthers, which led to them dropping to No. 4. The Georgia Bulldogs moved up to No. 5 after the LSU Tigers dropped two spots to No. 7 after their heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Crimson Tide.
The Big Ten only has two teams in the BCS rankings as Nebraska moved from No. 20 to No. 16 and the Northwestern Wildcats moved into the rankings at No. 24 after being previously unranked.
