The Pistons extended their losing streak as Chicago grabbed sole possession of first place.
The Detroit Pistons lost their fourth-straight game, 88-77, at home to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. Indiana's David West was too much for Detroit, as he dropped in 23 points on 11-of-16 shooting. Greg Monroe led the Pistons with 18 points and eight rebounds.
Elsewhere around the Central division, the Chicago Bulls downed the Brooklyn Nets, 83-82, on Saturday behind 19 points from Marco Bellini. That gave the Bulls first place at 13-9, as the Milwaukee Bucks fell big at home, 111-85, to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Kyrie Irving poured in 41 points for the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers, but it wasn't enough. The Knicks beat the Cavs, 103-102, after Cleveland's Anderson Varejao missed a potential game-tying free throw at the end of regulation. The Cavs are now 5-20 and last in the Central division.
