Spurs Vs. Pistons: Detroit Drops Second In A Row, 99-95

The Detroit Piston were coming off a 21-point blowout loss to the Washington Wizards as they welcomed in the San Antonio Spurs, who just happen to be one of the best teams in the NBA. The Spurs jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and held the lead into halftime. The Pistons surged late in the fourth quarter, putting down 33 points but it just wasn't enough as San Antonio walked away with the 99-95 win. Tim Duncan ended the night with 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, picking up the double-double.

The Pistons late run fell short, but Rodney Stuckey led the way for Detroit in the loss picking up 23 points and 8 assists on the night. Tayshaun Prince added 18 points while Brandon Knight added another 16 points. With the loss, the Pistons dropped their second game in a row.
