The Summit League tournament begins on March 3, with Oral Roberts holding the first seed and the two-time defending champion Oakland Golden Grizzlies seeded third.
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies will go into the Summit League tournament looking to make some big noise after a very good season that left them with an 11-7 overall record in the conference, good for third place overall. They have won the past two Summit tournaments and will take their tough game into the 2012 tourney looking for a third in a row.
There are no byes in the Summit tournament, so every team will have a game in the first two days. The first round will span March 3-4. Oakland's first opponent will be sixth-seeded Southern Utah. Oral Roberts holds the first overall seed after amassing an impressive 17-1 in-conference record while going 26-5 overall and starts the tournament off with a game against eighth-seeded IPFW.
The championship for the Summit tourney will be held on March 6 and will be televised on ESPN2. All games will be played at Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Game 1: No. 1 Oral Roberts vs. No. 8 IPFW (6 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
Game 2: No. 2 South Dakota State vs. No. 7 IUPUI (8:30 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
March 4 (quarterfinals)
Game 3: No. 4 Western Illinois vs. No. 5 North Dakota State (6 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
Game 4: No. 3 Oakland vs. No. 6 Southern Utah (8:30 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
March 5 (semifinals)
Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 3 winner (6 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
Game 6: Game 2 winner vs. Game 4 winner (8:30 p.m., Midco Sports Network, Fox College Sports)
March 6 (championship)
Game 7: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner (8 p.m., ESPN2)
