The 2012 NCAA tournament bracket has been released. Personally, my head is still spinning as I take a look at the bracket and all of the different matchups. The good news is there is plenty of time to get predictions done since most pools don't count the First Four games. The bad news is my productivity for anything not related to the tournament is about to take a giant nosedive in the coming days.
You can check out each region of the NCAA tournament below by clicking the links:

The victory gave Detroit its first trip to the NCAA tournament since 1999.
Kansas received a No. 2 seed in the tournament after going 27-6. The Jayhawks were hoping for a No. 1 seed, but after losing to Baylor in the Big 12 tournament, that didn't happen.

After landing a No. 4 seed in the 2012 NCAA tournament, Michigan is set to face Ohio, the No. 13 seed in the Midwest Region, in its first game. The Wolverines and Ohio will meet on Friday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Michigan made the Big Dance as an at-large team. The Wolverines were knocked out of the 2012 Big Ten tournament by Ohio State in the semifinals, but thanks to a 24-9 overall record, they have their highest seed in the NCAA tournament since being a No. 3 seed in 1998 (that year they won the Big Ten tournament).
Ohio made the Big Dance after winning the MAC tournament. The Bobcats finished with a 27-7 record and will now to get play Michigan, the team that refers to Ohio State as simply "Ohio." This should be a funny storyline to follow as the game nears.
