Ferris State Vs. Union (NY): Bulldogs, Dutchmen Tied At 1 After 2nd Period

The Ferris State Bulldogs scored a power play goal with less than three minutes remaining in the second period to tie the game at one goal apiece Thursday evening at The Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Kyle Bonis scored on a rebound off of Aaron Schmit's shot on net. Union struck first, as Daniel Carr scored less than eight minutes into the second period. Greg Coburn and Jeremy Welsh were credited with assists.

Taylor Nelson made 18 saves for Ferris State, while Troy Grosenick stopped 22 shots for Union.

This is the first appearance in the Frozen Four for both programs. The winner of this semifinal matchup will face the winner of Boston College and Minnesota on Saturday at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
