The 2012 Frozen Four will be decided on Saturday night when the Ferris State Bulldogs face off against the Boston College Eagles in Tampa.
Both teams advanced to the championship game with a stout defensive effort that yielded just one goal in the semifinals. Boston College jumped all over Minnesota for a 6-1 win in the semis, while Ferris State held off Union College, 3-1 to continue their run to the final game of the NCAA Hockey season.
The Bulldogs are making the most of their first Frozen Four appearance in just their second NCAA tournament. Boston College will have the edge in big-game experience as they look to win their third Frozen Four title since 2008.
