2012 Preakness Winner: I'll Have Another Continues Bid For Triple Crown With Thrilling Win

Stay connected for news and updates

The 137th running of the Preakness Stakes is under wraps, with I'll Have Another taking home the victory. The entire racing world imploded on itself when I'll Have Another made another burst at the end of the race, reminiscent of its victory in the 2012 Kentucky Derby, when it passed up Bodemeister near the final legs to steal the win.

And it happened yet again for I'll Have Another. Bodemeister was the horse in the lead when I'll Have Another closed in and stole the finish, to the surprise of many, but what will surely be looked on in hindsight as expected. I'll Have Another just validated the rest of the racing season by furthering its bid for the Triple Crown. All eyes will be on Belmont.

Prior to the start of the race, the final odds had Tiger Walk up at 19-1 and Bodemeister down at 2-1, No. 7, but Bodemeister was still the favorite to take it all, with I'll Have Another slightly less-favored at 3-1.
