Michigan-Notre Dame highlights college football action for fans in the Detroit-area this week.
No one can knock the Michigan Wolverines for their rugged non-conference schedule, and it comes to an end Saturday night in South Bend when the 18th-ranked Wolverines play No. 11 Notre Dame.
This is the marquee game in the greater Detroit area. Michigan, having already been blown out by Alabama in Week 1, does not want to go to 2-2 with the conference schedule getting under way next week.
No. 21 Michigan State is at home in East Lansing this weekend to face winless Eastern Michigan. The Spartans (2-1) were stifled offensively by Notre Dame last week.

Texas El-Paso at Wisconsin, 12 p.m. ET, ESPN2
