Mark Dantonio Blasts His Players For Tweets On Denard Robinson, Michigan Game

During Alabama's 41-14 manhandling of Denard Robinson and the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday several Michigan State Spartans took to Twitter to throw salt in the wounds of the Wolverines, particularly Robinson. In his Tuesday press conference, MSU coach Mark Dantonio made it known that he did not appreciate the tweets from his players.

Dantonio called the tweeting 'disrespectful' but he didn't stop there in admonishing his team, quickly reminding them of their last meeting with the Crimson Tide, saying "I didn’t see much different when we played the University of Alabama a couple of years ago."

Dantonio didn't stop there either; sending a message to his players that were involved.

The majority of the offending tweets came from backups, with LB Denicos Allen the only starter involved in the insults.

Michigan hosts Michigan State on Oct. 20.
