Pat Narduzzi has not spoken to USC about a coaching position.

Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi denied rumors that he will be the next defensive coordinator at Southern California, according to Mike Griffith of Mlive.com.

Narduzzi told Griffith that "there is absolutely no truth to anything that has been said about me coaching at USC."

Narduzzi also said that he has not spoken with anyone from USC.

Monte Kiffin was the defensive coordinator for the Trojans last season and earned $1.5 million. Narduzzi made $500,000 at Michigan State where he coached the best defense in the Big Ten for the second consecutive season.

The Michigan State defense gave up just 16.3 points per game this year which ranked ninth nationally. Michigan State ranked in the top 10 in the country in all major defensive categories this past season.

Narduzzi was also a candidate for the vacant head coach position at Cincinnati earlier this offseason, but the Bearcats opted to hire Tommy Tuberville away from Texas Tech.

Michigan coach Brady Hoke told Meinke that Robinson has practiced "a little bit" on the return team and it's possible that he can play on that unit against South Carolina.

Robinson lined up as kick returner on the opening kickoff of the second half against Michigan State on Oct. 20. The kickoff resulted in a touchback and is the only time that Robinson has lined up with the return unit this season.

Hoke said that Robinson "can do about anything" and has "pretty good instinct of running with the football."

Robinson leads Michigan with 1,319 passing yards and nine touchdowns through the air and is also the team's leading rusher as he's amassed 1,166 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.

The Detroit Pistons have won two games in a row for the second time this season after they defeated the Wizards on Saturday.

Charlie Villanueva tied a season-high by scoring 19 points off the bench to lead the Pistons over the Wizards, 96-87, on Saturday.

Villanueva was 3-of-6 from three-point territory and also had seven rebounds and two steals in under 22 minutes.

The Pistons led by 19 points after two quarters but their lead quickly diminished in the third as a Jordan Crawford jumper cut Detroit's lead to 64-58 with 3:51 remaining in the quarter.

After the Pistons entered the fourth with a 10-point lead, Crawford hit a three with 5:15 remaining in the quarter to cut Detroit's lead to 88-81 but that was as close as Washington could get in the final two quarters.

Crawford finished the game with 21 points on 4-of-13 shooting from the field. The loss was Washington's seventh in a row as they fell to 3-22 on the season.

This is only the second time this season that the Pistons have won back-to-back games. They also accomplished the feat on Nov. 26 and 28 when they defeated Portland and Phoenix at home. The win improved Detroit to 9-21 this season.
