Calvin Johnson Has 2 Touchdowns As Lions Trail Packers At Halftime, 21-14

Stay connected for news and updates

Despite a very sloppy half filled with mistakes and penalties, the Lions are only trailing Green Bay at halftime by a score of 21-14.

Aaron Rodgers is lighting up the Lions' defense, as he has completed eight of nine passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

Offensively, the Lions are playing quite well for a change. Shaun Hill has hooked up with Calvin Johnson for two touchdowns today, including one that was brought down in double coverage at the end of the first half. Hill has completed 21 of 26 passes for 237 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, which was not his fault (the receiver fell down). As the numbers show, the Lions have pretty much abandoned the run game, which isn't a bad idea considering how well Hill is playing.
