Listen To Lions Fans Force Bears Into Nine False Starts

Ford Field was rocking like the glory days of the Silverdome last night and, as a result, helped force the Chicago Bears into nine false start penalties. I joked with a buddy of mine that the electricity inside Ford Field was generating the power at my house over 500 miles away, and I don't want to see that bill at the end of the month.

Any smart individual will know and concede that the crowd noise had to play a major role in the false starts (I mean, look at how much trouble the Silverdome crowd noise gave the Jets back in 1997). After the game, Jay Cutler danced around the notion that the crowd was the reason behind the false starts, but admitted the Bears had to go into a silent count because his teammates couldn't hear him very well.
