Lions Vs. 49ers Injury Report: Concussions Keep Tony Scheffler, Justin Durant Out Again

Stay connected for news and updates

It's looking less and less likely that Detroit Lions tight end Tony Scheffler and linebacker Justin Durant will play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Scheffler suffered a nasty concussion on Monday night against the Chicago Bears, and Durant is still recovering from a concussion he suffered against the Minnesota Vikings last month. Neither player has practiced this week, and they accounted for two of the three players absent from Thursday's practice.

Here's the full injury report for Thursday:

Did Not Practice

TE Tony Scheffler (Concussion), LB Justin Durant (Concussion), S Vincent Fuller (Elbow)

Limited In Practice

WR Rashied Davis (Foot), OT Jason Fox (Foot), DE Cliff Avril (Elbow), DE Lawrence Jackson (Hamstring), LB Doug Hogue (Hamstring), CB Aaron Berry (Groin), S Louis Delmas (Abdomen), S Amari Spievey (Hamstring)

Fully Practiced

LB DeAndre Levy (Knee), LB Stephen Tulloch (Ankle)

Five players missed Wednesday's practice. Cornerback Aaron Berry was one of them, but he was able to give it a go on a limited basis on Thursday. The other player out on Wednesday, safety Erik Coleman, was placed on injured reserve.
