As expected, the Lions will be without running back Jahvid Best and punter Ryan Donahue today vs. the Bears. Sammie Hill, who missed a day of practice during the week, is active. 

There were some questions surrounding veteran kicker Jason Hanson, who had a minor knee surgery on his left knee (of his planting leg), but he is listed as active and will handle the kicking duties in the Windy City. 

Kevin Smith, who was signed during the bye week, will dress and could get playing time. He has only a week of practice under his belt, but because he was with the team from 2008-2010, he's probably pretty familiar with the offense. Leonard Davis, on the other hand, will probably need more time to get familiar with it before he sees action, so he's inactive this week.
