The Detroit Lions have had their fair share of injury issues the past few weeks. Judging by Wednesday's week-opening injury report for the upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers, it isn't likely to get better, either.
The Panthers listed starters Matthew Stafford, Jahvid Best, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Amari Spievey and Ryan Donahue on Wednesday's injury report. Considering Stafford was able to take his normal reps and Vanden Bosch's availability was not injury related, however, it might not be as bad as it looks on first glance.
Best needs to be symptom free if he's cleared to practice or play, according to the team. The remaining injuries haven't been given timetables, though the Lions did sign punter Ben Graham on Tuesday.
