As expected, Jeremy Shockey will not play this week against the Detroit Lions, as he was suffering from a ribs injury. He was listed as doubtful all week and it was confirmed early that he would sit this one out. Greg Olsen will see a boost in action as a result. 

Starting linebacker Dan Connor was questionable all week, but he will be inactive. He was a limited participant at practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but did not practice at all on Friday. 

Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn, whose status was in doubt with fellow cornerback Brandon Hogan, is active. Hogan on the other hand will not play. Frank Kearse and James Anderson, both of whom were on the injury report this week, are also active.
