After rebounding last week (9-5), I'm kicking it up a notch and going all Suh on these picks.
Despite what the Lions tried to do to my appetite beforehand, Thanksgiving was delicious (and I was 2-1 in games against the spread).
As you know, Ndamukong Suh's stomp was everything everybody was talking about heading into Friday. People have become obsessed with making Suh a villain and his actions during the game (and immediately after the game before reporters) didn't really help his defense. I'll try to have more on this later, but all the distorted talk about Suh being dirty has surely bolstered the chance Suh will be suspended multiple games for something that wasn't as bad as what Brian Robison did to T.J. Lang's children, and that's bullshit.
Let's get all hopped-up-and-down mad about these picks.
LIONS (+6.5) over Packers
I was wrong.
Dolphins (+7.5) over COWBOYS
I was right.
RAVENS (-3.5) over 49ers
I was right.
FALCONS (-8.5) over Vikings
I'm rooting very hard for the Vikings, but I think the Falcons will win by 10.
Browns (+7.5) over BENGALS
Hey look, Peyton Hillis is back.
Bucs (+3.5) over TITANS
Panthers (-3.5) over COLTS
Did you know that Ernie Sims and Dan Orlovsky could go 0-16 for a second time? That's what Sims gets for thinking he was better than his performance indicated and entitled to being on a winning team, and what Orlovsky gets for spackling my brother's basement.
Texans (-3.5) over JAGS
Matt Leinart will get some positive publicity?
Cardinals (+3.5) over RAMS
Bills (+9.5) over JETS
Is God going to let Stevie Johnson catch any passes?
RAIDERS (+0.5) over Bears
SEAHAWKS (-4.5) over Redskins
This is the weekly game where I'd rather be caught watching a Twilight movie.
Patriots (-4.5) over EAGLES
CHARGERS (-6.5) over Broncos
Tim Tebow has fallen.
Steelers (-9.5) over CHIEFS
I can't believe I made this pick on Wednesday -- I bet Chiefs cover now.
SAINTS (-6.5) over Giants
I'm not sure if I'd rather have the Saints come into their SNF game with the Lions following a win or a loss, but I think a win is going to happen.
