The Detroit Lions host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon but they won't have to worry about slowing down Minnesota's dynamic running back Adrian Peterson.

Peterson is listed on the team's official inactive list for the game, missing his third straight game with a high ankle sprain. Bruising running back Toby Gerhart will continue starting in place of Peterson in the Vikings backfield.
