Lions Vs. Vikings Score Update: Detroit Holds On To 31-21 Lead Heading Into Fourth Quarter

The Lions moved the ball fairly well in the third quarter, but couldn't muster anymore points to add on to the 31 they scored in the first half. They had the ball for almost 10 minutes, but were outscored 7-0 in the quarter and cling to a 31-21 lead heading into the final 15 minutes.

The Vikings scored on a Joe Webb 65 yard scramble to cap off a nine play, 3:41 drive for the Vikings to pull within two possessions.

Matthew Stafford was 6-for-9 in the third quarter after failing to complete a pass in the second quarter. He is now 15-of-23 for 194 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Pettigrew has been his favorite wide receiver thus far, catching six passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Titus Young has two catches, 88 yards and a touchdown.

The Lions will have the ball, first-and-10, at the Vikings 35 yard line when the fourth quarter begins.
