Super Bowl 2012 Injury Update: Giants TE Travis Beckum Out With Torn ACL

Stay connected for news and updates

Early in the second quarter during a failed offensive drive by the New York Giants, Tight End Travis Beckum was sidelined with a torn ACL after a collision with a Patriots defender.

Beckum had not done much of anything for the Giants thus far in the game, but injuries during the Super Bowl are never a good thing. Hopefully he'll be healed for the 2013 season, but the Giants obviously have more important issues on their minds right now as they drive again on offense in the second quarter.

The score still currently stands at 9-3 in favor of the GIants.
