Two touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford, one to Calvin Johnson and one to Titus Young, helped the Detroit Lions take a 17-9 lead over the Baltimore Ravens at halftime of Friday's game.
Baltimore's Justin Tucker connected on a 50-yard field goal to push the Ravens' first quarter lead to 6-0 less than a minute into the second quarter. On Detroit's next drive, Stafford found Johnson for an 18-yard score. Stafford and Johnson also connected on a 57-yard pass on the first play of that drive.
After the Detroit defense forced a punt, Stafford found Titus Young for a 24-yard touchdown to make the lead 14-6. Kevin Smith also had a 21-yard reception on that drive.
Cundiff connected on a 44-yard field goal on Baltimore's next drive. Jason Hanson connected on a 50-yarder for the Lions with 44 seconds left in the half.
Stafford, who was replaced by Shaun Hill in the second quarter, finished 12-for-17 for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson had five catches for 111 yards.
