Detroit Lions Make Defensive Roster Moves

The Detroit Lions made a pair of roster moves to fill holes on the defensive side of the football Tuesday morning, claiming Bobby Skinner off of waivers and adding Isaac Madison to fill roster holes left open after waiving injured players Don Carey and Nathan Overbay on Monday. The Lions announced both of the moves on their website.

Skinner has had a pretty crazy week, having only been added to the Giants' training camp roster on Aug. 16 before being cut just a few days later and ending up with the Lions. The 6'3, 298-pound defensive tackle went undrafted out of Montclair State.

Madison was in camp with the Dallas Cowboys earlier this year, but was waived in early August so the team could add more players on the offensive side of the ball. The cornerback went undrafted out of Arkansas.
