Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh has been voted the dirtiest player in the NFL by his fellow players, but he doesn't think of himself as a dirty player.

Suh, in an interview with GQ, has said that he is not a dirty player because he doesn't have bad intentions. When confronted with the idea that he plays dirty, Suh vehemently disagreed.

He says no. Emphatically no. He's not dirty. "A dirty player is somebody who ultimately is trying to hurt somebody. There's a huge difference. There's no gray in that. Like, you have no conscience, no nothing, no guilt. I don't have that mean streak in me. I don't play angry. It's not anger."

Suh goes on to say that he doesn't believe he's caused any significant injuries with any of his hits and he avoids helmet-to-helmet contact. Yet, this is the same player who stomped on Green Bay Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm on a Thanksgiving game on national television. Suh, for his part, still insists that the stomp was unintentional.
