Lions' List Of Absent Players Shrinks As Practice Resumes Wednesday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Detroit Lions are getting healthier as their third preseason game approaches. Defensive tackles Sammie Hill and Corey Williams returned to practice on Wednesday, which was the first time they were able to participate in practice this week. Hill had been out while dealing with back spasms, while Williams has a lingering calf injury.

Running back Mikel Leshoure also practiced on Wednesday and is expected to be ready for Saturday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Returner Stefan Logan and linebacker Travis Lewis remain sidelined; however, neither one is expected to play on Saturday.

Wide receiver Titus Young was also back in practice on Wednesday, though his absences on Monday and Tuesday were not injury-related.
