Columbia, SC - Tyrus Thomas scored 23 points and D.J. Augustin added 16 points with eight assists to help the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Detroit Pistons, 97-94, at the Colonial Life Arena.
Derrick Brown scored 15 points, Stephen Jackson totaled 12 and Boris Diaw contributed 11 for the Bobcats, who shot 46.9 percent from the field.
Rodney Stuckey finished with a game-high 25 points for the Pistons, who also got a 19-point performance from Charlie Villanueva. Detroit made 40.5 percent of its shots.
