Columbia, SC - Tyrus Thomas scored 23 points and D.J. Augustin added 16 points with eight assists to help the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Detroit Pistons, 97-94, at the Colonial Life Arena.
Derrick Brown scored 15 points, Stephen Jackson totaled 12 and Boris Diaw contributed 11 for the Bobcats, who shot 46.9 percent from the field.
