Pistons Vs. Mavericks Score Update: Dallas Burning Detroit Through First Half, 52-38

Detroit's franchise-worst four-game losing streak by 16 or more points doesn't look like it's going to come to an end through the first 24 minutes against the reigning champions. The Dallas Mavericks are up on the Pistons 52-38.

The Mavs hit their first eight shots and the Pistons turned the ball over on eight of their first 10 possessions, allowing Dallas to jump out to a quick 23-9 lead. Somehow the Pistons battled back to make it a 10-point game after the first quarter before shooting just 6-for-18 in the second quarter and taking a 14-point deficit into the break.

Dirk Nowitizki has 12 points on 6-for-6 shooting and four rebounds. The Mavs are shooting 63-percent, which is a big reason why they are outrebounding the Pistons 17-8.

Brandon Knight leads the Pistons with nine points on 3-for-3 from behind the arc, but he also has four turnovers. Greg Monroe was in foul trouble early and has zero points on just two shots. He leads the team in rebounds with four.
