Pistons Schedule 2012: Detroit Has Another Busy Week

Detroit has a four game week, facing Oklahoma City, Miami, Atlanta and Philadelphia.

The Detroit Pistons won a game for the first time in a while on Saturday when they beat the Portland Trailblazers 94-91 at The Palace. That only gives them two wins in their last ten games and a record of 4-13, but it's finally a win and after a five game week going into a four game week they need all the momentum that they can get.

It'll be another busy week for the Pistons, starting Monday as they face one of the best teams in the league, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Durant's team welcomes Detroit to town with a revitalized Russell Westbrook toting a new contract and a 13-3 record after beating the Nets.

One tough test segues into another -- though not in a back to back -- on Wednesday as the Miami Heat come to Detroit. The 'Big 3' of Chris Bosh, Lebron James and Dwyane Wade has been broken up a bit recently as the Heat have managed to play better without Wade, but it's unlikely that the Pistons will have any answer for any of the three, let alone two of them. The Heat are coming off a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks but are still 11-5 on the season. The weekend will bring games against the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers, but the two week starting games will be the more important ones against the stronger teams.

With the Pistons almost out of the playoffs already, they need to string together some wins.
