Stay connected for news and updates

The Detroit Pistons lost their best scorer, Rodney Stuckey, just six minutes into the game with a sore left hamstring, but they still lead the Cleveland Cavaliers at the half, 49-44.

Detroit shot 45-percent in the first half (50-percent from long range) while holding the Cavs to 38-percent. Tayshaun Prince leads the way with 18 points (a perfect 3-for-3 from downtown). Austin Daye saw 10 minutes thanks to the injuries to Stuckey and Ben Gordon, who is resting a sore groin, and contributed six points. Brandon Knight has nine.

The Cavs are being led by rookie Kyrie Irving; he has 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists, but he also has five turnovers.
