Fresh off a win over the Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers come to Detroit for a Tuesday night matchup with the Pistons.

After two days off, the Pistons will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.

The Pistons last played on Saturday, falling to Charlotte in what was just the Bobcats' fourth win on the season. The loss dropped Detroit to 12-26 and into a three-way tie for 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

The Pistons are just 1-4 over their last five, with two of the four losses coming to Cleveland and Toronto, each of which enter Tuesday night with identical 12-26 records.

The Lakers, meanwhile, have won eight of their last 10, giving them a 23-14 record and sole possession of third place in the Western Conference.

Kobe Bryant, who leads the league in scoring at 28.9 points per game, has been on a scoring tear of late. He has scored at least 31 points in six of L.A.'s last 11 games, including 33 a 93-83 win over the Miami Heat on Sunday.
