The Detroit Pistons absolutely embarrassed the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, beating the Central Division's bottom dwellers by 39 points, 116-77.
The Pistons, who shot 60-percent in the game and held the Cavs to under 40-percent, led by 50 points after three quarters, 100-50, before emptying the bench in the fourth quarter. Brandon Knight was en fuego all night, hitting 11-of-12 shots (4-for-5 from three-pointers) en route to scoring a game-high 28 points. He also had a game-high seven assists.
Greg Monroe picked up his 29th double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebonds in 27-plus minutes.
The Pistons fly to Atlanta to take on the Hawks on Wednesday night before playing their third straight game on Thursday back in Detroit.

The Detroit Pistons are mixing things up a little bit with their rotations Tuesday night and it has worked through the first 24 minutes against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Pistons lead at the half by 23, 61-38.
The Pistons led by as many as 25 against the Kyrie Irving-less Cavaliers and shot 64-percent in the first half. The Pistons received even distribution from its starting five, but Tayshaun Prince leads the way with 10 points. Greg Monroe has six points, five rebounds and three steals while Brandon Knight has nine points and five assists.
Charlie Villanueva and Jonas Jerebko each have eight points off the bench. Lawrence Frank is giving them both extended minutes tonight in the back up No. 4 and No. 3 spots, respectively, to get the evaluation process for next season started early.
