Pistons Vs. Timberwolves Score Update: Detroit Down 18 After Lackluster First Half

Stay connected for news and updates

The Pistons are playing their third game of a back-to-back-to-back after getting slaughtered by the Hawks Wednesday night and the demoralization and exhaustion has shown through 24 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night. The team that has lost 11 straight games -- Minnesota, although you'd think it was Detroit -- leads by 18 at the half, 49-31.

The Pistons shot less than 30-percent, turned the ball over eight times and have let the Wolves shoot well over 50-percent in the lifeless first half.

The one bright spot has been Tayshaun Prince, who is back after not playing Wednesday night. He has a game-high 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting. Nikola Pekovic has 13 for the T-Wolves and Jose Barea is halfway to a triple-double with 11 points, eight assists, and five rebounds.
