Four in a row was just too much to ask of the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. The Pistons went to Atlanta looking to tie their best run of the season, but the Hawks, fighting to move up in the standings, had other ideas. Atlanta won by a final score of 101-96.
Rodney Stuckey had 27 points for Detroit, along with three rebounds and three assists. Will Bynum had 15 points, and Brandon Knight had 13.
Hawks point guard Jeff Teague tied a career high with 24 points. Forward Josh Smith had a double double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Joe Johnson and Ivan Johnson both had 16 points to round out the Atlanta offense.
The schedule gets tougher on Sunday when the Pistons swing over to Miami for a game against the Heat.
