Pistons Vs. Kings Final Score: Detroit's Starters Score 114 Points In 124-112 Win

The Detroit Pistons trailed the Sacramento Kings by 16 midway through the second quarter and, given how the Pistons have played on the road this year, looked like it was going to be a long night. However, the Pistons went on a 20-5 run to end the first half and then scored 40 points in a third quarter in which they outscored the Kings by 17 to take a 16-point lead of their own into the fourth. The Pistons coasted in the final quarter, but still put up 27 points and won by a final score of 124-112.

The Pistons starters scored all but 10 of their team's points. Rodney Stuckey took 33 points into the fourth quarter and finished with 35. He also had six assists and five rebounds. Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight both had double-doubles -- Moose scored 35 and grabbed 11 rebounds; Knight assisted 11 baskets and scored 10 points. Tayshaun Prince added 28 to his fellow starters' contributions.

According to Justin Rogers, the last time three Pistons scored at least 28 points was January 12, 2000 when Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse, and Lindsey Hunter each scored 29 against the New York Knicks.

The Pistons remain three games out of the playoff picture and continue their five game trip out west in Phoenix on Friday.
