Red Wings Vs. Flyers Final Score: Ilya Bryzgalov Stops 37 Shots, Detroit In Philadelphia

The Detroit Red Wings were missing six of their regulars on Tuesday night, but it was the Flyers who got roughed up during the course of the game and actually received the most contributions from one of their injured players. Claude Giroux, whose sore wrist prevented him from taking faceoffs, scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and added an assist on the game-winning goal to help lift the Flyers to a 3-2 win.

The Red Wings scored first (on their first shot) off the stick of Henrik Zetterberg and pulled within a goal in the third thanks to a goal by Johan Franzen, but couldn't find the net for the equalizer.

Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 37 of 39 shots for Philly. Joey MacDonald, starting in place of the injured Jimmy Howard, stopped 20 shots.

The Flyers lost Jakub Voracek, who tied the game in the first, and Jaromir Jagr in the second period as a result of injuries. Voracek was injured when Niklas Kronwall introduced his shoulder to Voracek's face.

The Red Wings have lost five of their last seven games. They look to get back on track on Friday when they host the Kings at the Joe.
