Red Wings Vs. Blues Final Score: Detroit Rallies To Win 3-2 In Shootout

Down 2-0 in the third period, it looked like it was over for the Red Wings and the Nashville Predators would remain in the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference standings. But the Red Wings rallied to score twice and force overtime, and then scored the lone goal in the shootout to take two out of the three points and move past the Predators.

Johan Franzen scored both goals in the come-from-behind win, the first coming at the 13:55 mark. A little over two minutes later, Franzen completed a dazzling play by Pavel Datsyuk to knot the game and stun a St. Louis team that has now lost seven of their last 10.

Todd Bertuzzi scored the only goal in the shootout after a scoreless overtime period on a backhander that got above St. Louis goaltender Brian Elliot's left shoulder.

The Red Wings now have 101 points -- the 12th straight season they've surpassed 100 points -- and sit a point ahead of the Predators with two games left in the season. The Wings host the Devils tomorrow night and then Chicago on Saturday to close out their season. The Predators host Dallas tomorrow night and then finish their season in Colorado.
