New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi pulled starting pitcher Ivan Nova after just two innings of Game 5 on Thursday night. Nova gave up back-to-back home runs in the first inning and a double in the second inning, but it was pretty surprising that Girardi gave him the hook so quickly.
Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera was among those who were surprised by the move, and the cameras caught his hilarious reaction to seeing Phil Hughes take over for Nova in the top of the third inning:

UPDATE: It turned out that Nova had a tight throwing forearm and was pulled due to that.
